Shape Shift Chess is a turn-based puzzle game on a chessboard, made for the "Shapes and Colors" jam.

You are a single chess piece, and your SHAPE decides how you move. Step on a colored square and you BECOME a new shape:

⬜ White → King ● — one step in any direction

🟥 Red → Rook ■ — slides in straight lines

🟦 Blue → Bishop ◆ — slides along diagonals

🟩 Green → Knight ▲ — jumps in an L, even over walls

🟨 Yellow → Queen ★ — slides in any direction

Black pieces are enemies. Red squares are under attack: end your move there and you get captured. Enemies with a red eye hunt you every turn.

Reach the exit ring or capture every enemy. Finish a level in par moves to earn 3 stars.

• Every level is checked by an automatic solver, so par is the true minimum number of moves

• Undo any move, star ratings, saved progress

• All art, sound effects and music are generated in code
